Freeze Factor

Bitter here in Maine today. Sea smoke rising off the sea like a senseless commodity. Lobsterboats trapped in the harbour like nervous boys before the allure of cold beauty. Rivers thick with ice and unspeakable boredom. The sky blue with witnessing the frozen world below. Car fumes clouding like white forests. People bundled in scarves and hats and hunched as if broken by inner tensions.
